Wushu
DSA Admission – Wushu
Pei Hwa Wushu focuses on developing students’ confidence in body expressions through a vigorous attention on the strengthening of body and mind. The practice of contemporary Chinese martial arts combines elements of performance and martial application.

Criteria
Applicants should have experience in practicing Wushu. (Formal Certification is useful, but not compulsory)
Applicants should preferably have:
- Relevant experiences in performing in school or external events OR
- Represented their primary school in National School Championship OR
- Other achievement(s)/ attainment(s) in Wushu
- Good physical abilities
Note:
- Applicants do not need to possess all of the above criteria to be considered.
- Meeting all the criteria does not guarantee the applicant will be shortlisted/given an offer.
Selection Process
Shortlisted applicants will undergo:
- An interview.
- A selection trial requiring them to:
- Demonstrate Wushu foundation skills as decided by Pei Hwa Secondary School.
- Perform a prepared Wushu routine (Duration of routine should not exceed 1 min 30 seconds).
Note:
- All Interviews and selection trials will take place face-to-face at Pei Hwa Secondary School.
- Weapons/equipment will be provided by Pei Hwa Secondary School. Shortlisted DSA applicants may bring their own Weapons/equipment for the selection trial, if they wish to.
