Through the meaningful experiences planned, the Floorball CCA also aims to help students to build a variety of important skills and qualities, such as:
- Teamwork: Floorball is a team sport that requires cooperation and communication among team members. Through participating in the CCA, students can learn to work effectively as a team and support one another.
- Physical fitness: Floorball is a physically demanding sport that requires speed, agility, and endurance. By practising and playing floorball, students can improve their overall physical fitness and develop a healthy lifestyle.
- Sportsmanship: Playing floorball involves following rules, respecting opponents and teammates, and demonstrating good sportsmanship. Through participating in the CCA, students can learn to compete fairly and with integrity.
- Leadership: Within a floorball team, there may be opportunities for students to take on leadership roles, such as team captain or coach. These roles can help students to develop their leadership skills and learn to motivate and inspire others.

CCA Activities & Opportunities
On top of participating in the annual National School Games, our members also take part in many other competitions as part of their passion for learning in the sport. We are actively taking part in the ActiveSG-SFA League, Pesta Sukan, Storvretacupen Singapore, SG Floorball Open as well as other invitational and ad-hoc competitions held by various schools, organisations and floorball clubs in Singapore.
We are also actively involved in workshops, camps and clinics for the betterment of our members. Some of these activities that our members have attended included a Blindsave Goalie Camp conducted by Andis Blinds from Latvia in 2018 and floorball clinics and sports conference held by David Jansson, Head coach for the Swiss National Mens’ Floorball Team in 2018 and Fundamental Goalie Skills Enhancement Workshop by Tony Backsbacka, goalie coach for the Finnish U19 Men’s team in 2022.
There are also plenty of opportunities for our members to be developed as student leaders in the CCA. Student leaders in the CCA are given the opportunity to facilitate events such as our annual CCA Fiesta, Open House and CCA Camps. You will also lead the team for training and competitions. Student leaders are also given the opportunity to hone their leadership further when they are sent to participate in the annual Sec 2 Basic Student Leadership Camp and Sec 3 Advance Student Leadership Camp.
