CoSpace Pei Hwa Challenge 2017

CoSpace Pei Hwa Challenge 2017

On 25 February, our school hosted the RoboCup Junior CoSpace Pei Hwa Challenge 2017. This is a national competition jointly organised by Pei Hwa Secondary School, Singapore Polytechnic, Robotics and Maker Academy and endorsed by RoboCup Singapore. We were honoured to have Mr Lim Peng Hun, Deputy Principal of Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic who is a keen supporter of Robotics technology grace our event. Mr Lim is also keen to promote education and innovation.

This year’s turn-out was as encouraging as previous years. 29 Primary School teams and 26 Secondary School teams participated in this event this year. As in previous years, this competition would not have been successful if not for our Key Personnel who took on roles as judges, the Applied Learning Programme (ALP) team and the Robotics Club members. Our students were professional and approachable and we received favourable feedback from the participants and school teachers.

This event provided our Robotics members the opportunity to share their knowledge and experiences gained from taking part in RoboCup Junior CoSpace Challenge Singapore Open and the International Robocup for the past two years, fulfilling our student outcomes of developing leaders, scholars and altruists.

Our heartiest congratulations goes to the winning teams in both the primary and secondary categories. May our paths meet again in next year’s event!
